Kahulu #Guam (at Kahulu Nai)

The last time I took you for a ride you stuck your head out the window the entire time. You closed your eyes as the wind picked up your ears and I felt you were dreaming of flying. I wrapped you in your favorite towel and your are deep in the land I inherited; I kept you home. I came to sit beneath the tree of the last place I took you. As I took this picture my sarong flew off my shoulder and into the wind. Goodbye old friend and thank you…for everything.{

It has only been a year since I turned 30…;and what a year it’s been. It has been filled with great happiness and great disappointment, great adventure and great disorientation, great love and great loss. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such incredibly inspiring people, near and far, new and old. All the hands in this photos represent all that I love, all that keeps me going, everything I am and all I could ever need. I feel incredibly loved, everyday. The only difference about yesterday…it came with cake, presents and balloons ;) (at Home{

Today is International No Diet Day! An annual celebration of body acceptance.
On of the most important relationships in your life is the one you have with yourself. We all come with flaws and imperfections that attribute to the beautiful person we are today and will continue to change and attribute to the amazing people we are growing into.
Get rid of that negative dialogue in your head. Do not allow yourself to say things about your own body that you would never say to someone else.
Be kind to yourself. Show the same compassion you do to others to yourself. Celebrate your successes. We all have days we think we underperformed. Instead of crushing yourself for it… nurture your body, soul and mind.
I know it’s simple to say but not at all easy to do. As we grow so will the meaning of self-love, care and compassion. A dear friend said to me “We put too much pressure on ourselves” as we hugged in attempts to let go.
Maybe for a start, just for today, we let go. Allow everything that is beautiful inside to come shining to the surface, where it’s been waiting for you to notice.

Saw something in the corner of my eye that was slightly larger than the fish I had passed. Saw these cute baby black tip reef sharks swimming around. They hung around me for about 30 mins then went exploring themselves.{
